Barcode Scanners

Fixed Mount scanners are intended for industrial applications to read barcodes on machinery, parts or containers. They can be attached to a wall, counter or assembly line and are not operated directly by the user. They are generally built into very tough housings and are solidly mounted. These scanners enable integration of bar code scanning into many different types of OEM and fixed mount applications for quick, easy and flexible data collection. Fixed-mount scanners use moving-beam laser or CCD technology. Although fixed-mount laser scanners are widely used at grocery checkouts, they are now also used for work-in-process (WIP) manufacturing applications, warehousing and distribution and shipping applications. Very small fixed-mount scanners are used in laboratory and process control applications. For high-speed sorting applications the fixed-mount vision-based scanners are preferred. Overhead or side-mounted laser scanners are used across all industries.

MS-3 Series

Designed for embedded applications, the MS-3 series meets demanding space and budget requirements while offering an exceptional feature-set. The MS-3 series provides exceptional versatility in size and functionality. The MS-3 Laser scanner is the performance leader in the MS-3 trio offering the fastest read performance. One of the smallest and lightest scan engines in its class, the MS-3 Engine is ideal for bar code applications where space is restricted or weight is a consideration. At up to 270 decodes per second, the MS-3 CCD offers the best read performance.

Applications :

  • Manufacturing
  • WIP
